Kaleba Jack is the President of our organization. He was born in Tanzania and lived there for 7 years before moving to the U.S. with his family in 2009. Kaleba Jack is the President of our organization. He was born in Tanzania and lived there for 7 years before moving to the U.S. with his family in 2009. Kaleba attended Iowa City High School and is currently a junior at the University of Iowa, studying Psychology. Kaleba enjoys playing sports and spending time with his peers. He is also a long jumper on the Iowa men's Track and Field program. Kaleba is passionate about helping the youth in his neighborhood build connections with youth of different backgrounds. He wants to provide resources that he and others like him didn't have growing up. He believes in Neighborhood Youth United's mission and is determined to achieve it.

Prisca Namutchibwe is our Vice President. She is of Congolese origin born in Namibia, residing in Iowa City since 2015. She is an alumna of the University of Iowa with a B.A. in International Relations as well as a minor in Global Health and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy. Her reasoning for joining the organization is her personal experience of being born as a displaced person in a refugee camp and later growing up as an immigrant child in the U.S. She aspires to fulfill Neighborhood Youth United's mission with the rest of the members.

Growing up in the United States as a young African child has provided him with many life experiences. He hopes to use his experiences, and knowledge to help youths pursue the best version of themselv

Giovanni Houssou is our treasurer. He was born in Togo, West Africa and lived there until he was 9 years old. In 2013, he moved to the United States with his family and younger sister. He is studying finance at Tippie college of Business at the University of Iowa with a minor in entrepreneurial management and French. Being raised here as a young immigrant, he has learned a lot that he can use to help the youth of today. He believes the youth are the future and it is important to help them see what they can become in the future.
Reece Caven is our Secretary. Born and raised in Iowa City, he is passionate about serving his community and making it a place to be proud of. Reece serves in the Iowa National Guard and is currently pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, a minor in history, and a Museum Studies Certificate at the University of Iowa. Besides writing, his favorite pastimes are reading and fishing.
