One of the strengths of our organization is that our board members are young, and have firsthand experience with what the underprivileged youth in our community are going through. We know that with this youth comes a life of learning ahead of us. So, we turn to our mentors and partners at Eddies Teddies and the African Communities Network of Iowa for the wisdom we don't yet have. Both of these organizations have been helping people long before we were established, and have invaluable knowledge that they have always been generous enough to share with us. We owe a lot of gratitude towards these mentors, and although our organizations don’t have the exact same mission, we are all striving towards the goal of a better community, a better world, and a more level playing field for the underserved and the underprivileged.
