The Grant Wood BackPack Drive
On August 20, 2023, Neighborhood Youth United partnered with Umoja to hand out backpacks and school supplies at Grant Wood Elementary. Together we were able to give out 95 backpacks and several boxes worth of school supplies to kids and families who needed them. We would like to sincerely thank all of those who donated and volunteered in order to make this event possible. We are extremely proud to be part of a community that cares so much for their underprivileged youth. More events to come!
